Workshop Overdrive #8

So today is the last day for us to be in the workshop before picking up our books and lecture notes, preparing for the final exams. The only major issue we have is the engine. Something really bad happened and we have to open up the entire engine. But that has to wait until exams are over. Other than that, we still have the minor parts such as handles and pedals to be fabricated.

Oh well, I think we will miss the smell of grease on our hands. Haha...

Workshop Overdrive #7

Exams are getting closer but we still don't know how to stop. Still working everyday in the workshop from 9am to 5pm, without fail. Reason being we have to tackle the critical parts immediately so other parts can proceed. Even Mr Wong and Mr King has been dropping by to the workshop quite frequent lately. Talk about teamwork!

Wheels, Brakes, & Steering.

Yeap, like what was mentioned in the previous post, Cheu Chyong and Jerard has been putting a lot of time and effort to ensure the wheels, brakes, and steering system can be completed before the study week begins.

Happy Birthday!

Today is one of our team member's birthday. Lim Kee Chean, happy birthday!

Workshop Overdrive #6 Phase 2 & OT

This was our last meeting before the start of the study break which also means final exams are just 3 weeks away. Much progress has been done by the chassis team, especially in the wheels, brakes, and steering system part. Of course, those guys did put in extra hours every day.

Why so stress?

Workshop Overdrive #5 Phase 2

Finally the chassis is completed! Few house under the glaring hot sun but it still didn't prevent the welder from doing a great job with the welding. Brilliant workmanship. With the chassis done, we all now have a better picture of the vehicle.

A visit to Masitu

A trip to Masitu by Mr Wong and Kwan Jou to obtain the materials for the scale model and the bodywork. They came back with a bag of cement and a lot of styrofoams. On top of that, Masitu is now our sponsor. Thank you Masitu!
